What You Need To Know About Becoming a Gilbert Police Officer

This seminar is intended provide information regarding the police officer testing process.
Members of the police department will discuss the role of AZ POST, how to complete the Statement of Personal History Background Questionnaire, what to expect during the testing process, the Arizona Law Enforcement Academy and what is expected of recruits. There is also an open question and answer session following the presentation.
This seminar is designed to address the testing process for the Town of Gilbert Police Department only.  It does not address any other agencies testing processes.

Department Offers Recruitment Incentive


In addition to the recruitment incentive, the Gilbert Police Department is offering a bonus of $1500 to new officers, to be paid upon completion of the Field Training program. This bonus applies to both recruit and lateral applicants who apply after June 26, 2001 and who are hired and successfully complete the Field Training program.
